I would like to thank the members of the  East Shore Art Guild for allowing me to join their Thurday painting sessions.  I have enjoyed the positive feedback and of course the lunches afterwords.  I would also like to wish them the best at their new adventure, the opening of the East Shore Art Guild Gallery in Harrisville, MI.

Fairbanks Watercolor Society held their annual paintout at the Georgeson Botanical Gardens at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

I just finished a four day painting class through the University of Alaska Fairbanks with David Mollett.  We painted on location at the Cushman Street Ponds and the Georgeson Botanical Gardens at the University.  We had four days of sunny and hot weather.  Luckly the smoke from the area fire stayed south of Fairbanks.
